What to Wear When You’re There – Copenhagen

This totally depends on the time of year that you visit. Being a Scandinavian country, the winters are bitterly cold and the summers can be pleasant and sunny. Copenhagen is a beautiful city filled with stylish, healthy looking, well groomed people! (Sweeping statement I know, but go and check it out if you don’t believe me!) The Danes really are quite fashion conscious, the main thing I noticed in and around the city was that so many people embrace fashion and adhere to Nordic school of style which is dressed down, edgy and chic. (I did visit during fashion though!!)
An oversized trench perfects the androgynous look
Styling tip – wear a jacket loosely slung over the shoulders to update your look
turned up trousers and brogues
Hayley wears a cobalt blue French Connection blazer in Norrebro
Fashion director of Danish Elle looks elegant with a Celine bag
casual denim look
Theo in black suit and loafers, very smart!
Beautiful designer Stine Goya in a self designed outfit
CEO of Malene Birger accessorises an all black outfit with a colourful scarf
Androgynous style again – a daytime tux
Theo and Georgie go sight seeing – on yer bike!

  • Dear Bonnie,

I came across your site and I really liked it: it has energy, personality and it’s playful too. It really kept me interested.

The reason I contacting you is not only for the review but to tell you that you seem to be the right person for the project I am working on right now: fashion enthusiast, chatty and with a sense of style.

We are looking for women who live in the top 20 destination cities (or close) in Europe or USA who could become shopping tour guides (a Shopine): you would take tourists (only women) to the best boutiques, shops, tell them a story about the city, about the fashion industry, trends, trademark/local products etc.
http://www.mashopine.com is a girls-only market place for guided shopping tours, empowering women to develop a side, an occasional occupation and source of income, developing friendships while sharing their knowledge of local trends, fashion and shopping.
Chatty, fun and multi-lingual, our Shopines will guarantee a great shopping experience throughout their tours.
Get to meet like-minded people and fill that piggy-bank while doing what you love: shopping.
Does this sound interesting to you? Do you have friends (women) who might be interested?
    Then e-mail us at:join@mashopine.com
