London Fashion Week Round Up
London Fashion Week Round Up
Where? London, UK.
Exactly? London Fashion Week SS16 season
Why? After a hectic few days at New York Fashion Week I’m back in my home town of London to check out some of the shows at one of the world’s most creative fashion weeks. The main hub of this seasons London Fashion Week was based at Brewer Street in the centre of bustling Soho. With hundreds of shows, presentations and parties over the five day event, it’s sometimes difficult to choose which shows to go to.
It was a fantastically exciting and inspirational week. Here’s my Style Traveller London Fashion Week Round Up featuring my highlights from the best parties, shows and the outfits I wore…
The Style Traveller Bonnie wearing Me + Em minimal, 70’s cropped trouser suit and bag. Coat by Cos and shoes by Sorel.
And opening shot taken from the front row at the David Koma show.
Above: The opening London Fashion Week show, beautiful sky blue floral dress by young designers Teatum Jones.
Above: Me hanging out on the front row with fab Chinese blogger @venchymok. Wearing Pinko dress, Amanda Wakeley bag and Kurt Geiger boots.
Above: The Julien MacDonald show and below: me wearing green dress by Pinko, coat by Ted Baker, bag by Amanda Wakeley and shoes by Sorel. After the Julien McDonald show the party started, the disco lights came on, champagne carried on flowing and the tunes got louder. Pretty cool considering it was 1pm in the afternoon!
Bonnie wears Ted Baker coat, Pinko dress, Amanda Wakeley bag and Kurt Geiger shoes.
Above: The delicate and beautiful Three Floor presentation and below: my day 2 outfit from Pinko shot outside the Brewer Street LFW HQ.
Day 2: the highlight of the day was the super fun Valentino Party on Sloane Street. The gorgeous sorbet colours of the new store provided the perfect backdrop for some photos and a great venue for a fun party.
Above: Me hanging out with fellow fashion bloggers from left to right @LornaLuxe, @Xeniaoverdose, me and @lapetiteanglaise.
On day 3 I was asked to do an instagram takeover for the gorgeous British label, Me+Em. Head over to @Me_andem to check out how my day got on.
Above: wearing Me + Em white trouser suit and bag.
Time for a touch up. Midday I whizzed over to the Fashion Monitor Social House to get a bit of a hair and make up spruce up by Revlon Professional and Wix make up. Et voila, I’m ready for my close up!
Day 4 outfit: Leather trousers, white silk cami and bag all by Me+Em. Sunglasses by Le Specs Luxe range.
The highlight of day 4 was the incredible Burberry show. Full of military, pyjama and trench coat references, this was my favourite show of the week.
Good bye from London Fashion Week, next stop Canyon Ranch Spa in Kaplankay for a little R&R and a much needed post fashion week detox!
Bon Voyage.

I love all the ensembles. You look stunning. Thank you for this post. Your photos made me feel like I was there too. New fan.
I always find it interesting how high fashion or runway shows feature clothes that most people wouldn’t wear. Yes, they look cool for the show but has anyone seen anyone dressed like that in real life?
I love your black and white top in the last picture. Looks like you had an amazing time
I’d have loved to have gone to the Julian Macdonald show. The pics looked amazing. How lucky that you went to nyfw too. X

OMG I want your life!! I have life and wardrobe envy and I am not ashamed to admit it! I love the dress you wore to the Valentino party but the white trouser suit is amazing too! #lifegoals right here!
It’s awesome that you got to see both the NYFW and the London Fashion Week. I really like the trends that are waiting for us, they’re all so wearable and comfy. I am not huge on fashion but I like it when I see clothes that I can definitely wear.
LOVE the outfits!!!! Awesome pictures.

It mus have been an amazing experience to be able to watch all the shows. I really love your outfits especially the first and the last ones!
I really liked the blue lace dress the model is wearing with fishnets. Look closer at the catwalk shot of the girl in the stilettos – look at the angle of her heel! I don’t know how it didn’t snap!!
Now that is FASHION! I love the outfits and shoes and all the make up. Lucky!
There are so many beautiful styles! I love the London catwalk. There’s always something elegant to see.
The fashion world looks so glamorous. I love the creativity in clothing design, although I probably wouldn’t wear a lot of it.
This looks like a great event to be part of. I adore your dress!x
