I don’t know about you, but I find Januarys in the UK difficult. The weather is cold and grey, and the festive season high is over. So I always try to book in a uk spa staycation for a bit of self care and healing.

Just a little spa day (or mini break) has so many benefits for your mind, body and soul. From using the heeling sauna and steam room, to floating in hot tubs and indulging in massages. Never underestimate the importance of self care.

Can you believe this is London? ❄️

Here’s a little quiet moment from Battersea Park Peace Pagoda, just by the River Thames which runs through the park.

It was built in 1985 by a group of Buddhist worshipers in dedication to world peace, and is free for anyone in the park to come and worship, meditate or just enjoy a moment of tranquillity.

One of things I love the most about London is the little corners of culture and hidden gems where you least expect them. I recommend visiting here when it’s snowing ❄️ it feels truly magical ✨

The perfect Christmas lights route in London as written by a Londoner! I’ve been visiting the London Christmas lights for years and this is my favourite route to see as many of the best displays in one easy journey ❄️

Start at Annabel‘s in Mayfair to check out this year’s beautiful peacock display 🦚

Then head towards the Cartier store and Ralph Lauren on Bond Street. 🎁

From the bottom of Bond Street head towards Fortnam and Masons to see the 2024 frontage 🎄

Next walk to the iconic Regent Street Angels via Picadilly Circus ✨

Finish off in beautiful Covent Garden. If you have time either walk through Leicester Square or hop on the tube 🎄
