What to wear when you’re there

Where? The big apple. The city that never sleeps. New York! New York! There’s a never ending stream of trendy new bars, restaurants, boutique hotels and boutique shops, popping up all over the American fashion capital. That’s what makes New York one of my favourite city destinations in the world. Here is TheStyleTraveller’s edit of the most stylish and must see places to visit when in NYC.

With? My friend and fashion buddy Fiona

Best time to go? New York is a city of extremes when it comes to the weather. From the sweltering heat of the summer to the big freeze in the winter. My favourite times of year to visit are early summer, when people spill out onto the streets from cafes and bars, the atmosphere is electric. I also love pre-Christmas time, for the ice skating in Central Park and the enchanting department store windows, it’s a magical time in the city.

Outfit 2 – Blue oversized shirt, Black leather pencil skirt, both by Mint Velvet

Outfit 3 – Black slip dress, Ivory jacquard biker jacket, both by Mint Velvet. Beanie hat Bonnie’s own.

Hi there, I really like your style :) I love the fact that you can be so stylish while traveling. I try to stay fashionable too but sometimes I just don’t have the energy in the morning while getting ready for a whole day of sightseeing but in most days I try to look effortlessly stylish.

How often do you get to travel and how do you afford to travel? Do you work online? :) Just curious!
