Where? London Fashion Week

Exactly? 180 The Strand which is the LFW HQ, but shows and events are spread out all over the city

Why?  Twice a year in February and September the world’s fashion industry descends upon the capital to indulge in 5 days of pure, unadulterated FASHION! From some of the world’s top designer catwalk shows, presentations, mind blowing parties to fun events dotted all over the city, London is taken over by style.

This season was no exception. Having been to fashion weeks for over 10 years I’m an old hat at how to do the shows, but I have to say every year it just gets better. This season with the aid of my very own Mercedes Benz G-Wagon (thank you so so much for that Mercedes!!!) I managed to whizz around town in record speed popping into shows, dinners, debates, presentations and parties!

As you know I attend London Fashion Week and various other fashions weeks across the globe every season, but my favourite is in my home town, London.

Special thanks to? This year I did a collaboration with Rotary Watches who gave me a gorgeous selection of time pieces to accessorise my outfits with every day! And also thanks to Mercedes Benz UK for giving me the G-Wagon for the duration of the shows. Huge thanks to my driver Lee for being a legend and getting me to the shows on time!

First show of the season was a gorgeous burst of candy colours and acid brights by designer duo Fyodor Golan (pictured below).

Time to party

Day 2

Another day another outfit Bonnie wears white dress by Silk Fred, blue coat by Amanda Wakeley, Cambridge Chronograph watch by Rotary and bag by Louis Vuitton.

My highlight of day 2 was being invited by Yahoo Style to take part in an official LFW panel debate at Somerset House about the changing digital landscape and the future of the fashion industry.

I was thrilled to be speaking along side some of the industries key movers and shakers including uber vlogger and influencer Victoria from ‘In The Frow’ as well Julia Robson, formerly fashion director at The Telegraph newspaper!

The afternoon was filled with more shows, such as Henry Holland, pictured above and a wonderful afternoon tea at The Mondrian Hotel hosted by designer Lulu Guinness.

Day 3 and 4

The next two days were filled with back to back shows, prestations and doing street style shoots in and around London.

One of my favourite shows of the week was Preen by Thornton Bragazzi pictured above.

My favourite party of the week was the Emporio Armani party where A-Ha, Ellie Goulding and Disclosure all performed. 

Day 5

Feeling a little dazed after the Armani party, I was lagging a bit by day 5! But I still managed to squeeze in a couple of shows and presentations.

And on the last evening as the perfect grand finale, Tommy Hilfiger brought his ‘Tommy Now – Rock Circus show and party, featuring his new line with Gigi Hadid to town, to bring London Fashion Week to a spectacular end.
