Ibiza Restaurants
Going out for dinner in Ibiza has its own set of rules, starting with time. Don’t bother arriving at the restaurant until at least 10.30 – 11pm and even that’s early by Spanish standards. Most of the restaurants on the island have a club inside the venue (as well as an eponymous CD of course) so it’s perfectly normal to drink, eat and party the night away in one place. Dress code differs depending on the place, but generally smart evening / clubbing wear is the norm. There are so many great places to pick from but these are my favourites.

crta. Sant Josep
km 5.6 Ibiza
Ap Correos 356
07817 Sant Jordi
A bedouin themed restaurant/bar/club 5km from Ibiza Town, hence the name. During season it gets
super busy so booking a table is a good idea. As good for intimate candle lit dinners as it is for drinks with a group of friends. Come pre clubbing or stay late and party in the tiny (but fun) club on site.
Bambooda Grove
Ctra San Juan 8.5 km
Ibiza
Oriental themed restaurant and bar with its own shop and chill out CD.
Sa Capella
Carretera Santa Ines
KM 0,6 Cala Grassio
San Antonio
Ok, ok, so it’s in San Antonio, but don’t let that cloud your judgement. Sa Capella is an utterly romantic restaurant housed in a disused church. The food is excellent, my favourite dish is the Ibizan Salt fish, basically grilled fish buried in a heap of rock salt, sounds odd but is utterly delicious! Whats good? The service, the atmosphere and the crowd.
El Ayoun
Avda Isidoro Macabich 6
San Rafael Centro
Extravagant, ultra glam, Morrocan restaurant in San Raphael. It’s expensive but the food is delicious. What’s good? The people watching, the incredible interior and the atmosphere. There’s even a dress shop inside in case you feel like changing your outfit.
Ibiza Old Town – Dalt Vila
La Bodega
Calle De Las Farmacias
Rambla Dalt Vila
Wander around Ibiza Town and you’ll easily find great little tapas bars lining the winding back streets. One of my favourites just off the main square and at the foot of the entrance to Dalt Vila, is La Bodega.
Inexpensive tapas and sangria with a great view of the main square.
Plaza Del Sol
Placa Del Sol, 7
Dalt Vila
Ibiza
Right at the top of Old Town with the loveliest views of the marina and Ibiza town is Plaza Del Sol. Romantic, candle lit, the perfect spot for a glass of chilled vino watching the sunset, before the world comes out to play.
Ok, ok, who am I trying to kid! Going out for dinner every night in Ibiza will not only burn huge hole in your wallet, but is also physically improbable, due to the amount of sleep depravation you’re likely to be suffering from. Step forward Ibiza delivers, who, you guessed it, deliver fresh ingredients, food, alcohol, pretty much what ever you need direct to your door. It’s a life saver!
