Why? I was lucky enough to be invited to South Africa for Mercedes Benz Africa Fashion Week in Johannesburg and decided to extend the trip with a week in Cape Town.

When? November 2013

Weather? Lovely and warm. It’s the start of summer in South Africa.

What to Wear When You’re There – Cape Town
As is the case with most beach cities, Cape Town style is relaxed and cool. When deciding what to wear the sartorial vibe to channel is mix of city wear and beach side chic. For the evening if you’re heading to Camps Bay ramp up the glamour factor, but on Long Street and the V&A waterfront area pretty much anything goes. Here’s a little street style gallery of the cool Capetonians I met!
